Hello, I wanted to book a massage for 2 people on 11th of march?
Hello Mariana,
Thank you for contacting us.
We have sent you an email about your Szechenyi Baths reservation request.
Hello,
I am trying to book for a full day on the 9th August as it will be my bday. The booking is not allowing me to book at all stating its not available between 8-17.8.23. Why is that? Will I be able to just walk in?
Hi,
If I purchase tickets and come in morning are we able to use same tickets to come back same day but also in the evening? Thanks
Hello Jasmin,
Unfortunately, the entry tickets are single passes, so it is not possible to leave the baths and come back with the same ticket.
Party tickets are sold separately (daytime tickets are not valid for the spa party).
Please find more details about the party tickets on the link below:
https://bathsbudapest.com/budapest-bath-parties
There are tickets available from 7 to 10 April.
Do children aged 4 and 10 pay?
Hello Milton,
During the Easter holiday, online tickets are not accepted. Guests might buy entries upon arrival.
Please note that holidays are generally busy therefore the queuing time can take 30-60 min.
The thermal baths were and are still aimed at adult bathers, therefore there are no kid’s pools or activities.
The bath entry is free for children under 2 years old. Older children need to buy full-priced entries.
Most of the outdoor and indoor pools and baths are more than 33 degrees Celsius, which means increased stress for the cardiovascular system of kids, whose body is not fully developed yet to be able to cope with the heat of the bath waters, therefore saunas and hot pools are not healthy for children under 14.

Hi, I am wondering if you do group discounts as I am wanting to visit with 37 people?
Hello Lauren,
we have emailed you.
Enjoy your holiday in Budapest!
Am I understanding that children are not permitted in the water of any of the pools.even with parents consent? I have a 7 year old daughter that would just like to take a short dip in. Please let me know before I purchase tickets. Thank you
Hello Wendy,
children can enter the pools at their parent’s responsibility.
The thermal baths were and are still aimed at adult bathers, therefore there are no different pricing for kids or students.
Only full-price adult tickets are available in the spas ( and free for children under 2 years old).
There is no age restriction at the baths, however, please note that thermal waters for children under 14 are not recommended, but if the parents decide to come anyway at their own responsibility, they can.
As most of the outdoor and indoor pools are more than 33 degrees Celsius, which means increased stress for the cardiovascular system of kids, whose body is not fully developed yet to be able to cope with the heat of the bath waters.
We recommend families with children visit one of the lidos in Budapest, especially Palatinus Pools on Margaret Island and Dagaly Lido close to Arpad Bridge (north of Margaret Island).
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
