Dec 24 Opening Hours

The city of Budapest welcomes her thermal baths guests during the winter season, including Christmas Eve, December 24, when the baths are open until early afternoon.

Booking for the festive period (Dec 23 – Jan 7) is expected to open from mid or late November. Kindly check back approx. 1 month before your planned date of visit when the days open in the booking calendar for the period Dec 23 – Jan 7.

Planned Opening Hours:

The thermal baths and swimming pools are open according to Saturday opening times from 8 am to 2 pm. Dandár and Csillaghegyi baths are open from 8 am to 2 pm. Kiraly Baths remain closed.

The thermal department of Rudas Bath is open for visitors of both sexes.

Between 24 and 26 December baths are operating with weekend prices.

  1. Hello, we want to visit Gellert Bath or Szecheni on Dec 24 afternoon. Will it be open?

      Thank you for contacting us.
      Both Gellert Spa and Szechenyi Baths will be open on 24th December but with shorter opening hours.
      Gellert Spa will be open from 9 am until 2 pm and Szechenyi Bath from 8 am until 2 pm.
