Pregunto si es posible visitar los baños, como turistas. SOLO VISITAR.
    Y cual es el precio’??

    • Dear Jose,

      Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately, since Covid, the guided tours have been no longer available but you can visit the bath inside with a standard entry (the cheapest one is on a weekday with a locker).
Alternatively, you can download an affordable audio guide app that presents the City Park attractions, including the Szechenyi Bath. For a self guided audio tour in the main halls of the baths and its surroundings in the City Park, e.g. the Vajdahunyad Castle, the Ice Rink Palace, etc. we suggest taking a look at the following tour option: https://szechenyibath.com/guided-tour-szechenyi-baths-and-the-city-park-budapest/

Large Halls (City Park side and Circus side)
To make a short free visit, you can enter the two large entry halls (not the bathing area) free of charge. Some of the windows in the main hall and the cafeteria let the visitors have a quick peek at the 3 outdoor pools (there are 15 more pools inside, besides the saunas, steam rooms etc. which will not be visible though). The architecture of the building, the beautiful wall paintings are worth a visit as the thermal baths are set in the stunning City Park.

      Footwear
To enter the main hall you can use street shoes. (If you buy a bath entry, you will need slippers or flip flops though.)

Have a lovely time in Budapest!

  2. hello! unfortunately i will be on my period when i’m visiting the baths with my family, is it ok for me to be in non-swimwear clothes while i’m in szechenyi (since i won’t be entering the waters!)?

    • Hi Royce,
While we understand your situation, please note that the dress code at Széchenyi Baths requires all guests to wear swimwear specifically designed for swimming purposes. We recommend wearing a bathrobe which is included in the Palm House package.

Whising you a lovely time in Budapest!

      • Hi
we have booked Rudas tickets for Tuesday the 15th and didn’t realise it was female only and there is one male with us! could we exchange the ticket for Gellert baths instead? Happy to pay the difference.

        Thank you

        • Dear Kathryn,
          Thank you for your email.
Based on the information provided, we have concluded that the payment was not made on our website, therefore we cannot respond to your request or manage your request directly. We have sent you an email with more details.
We hope you have a great time visiting the Baths!

  3. Hi,
We really want to be able to experience the Thermao Bath Szechenyi and Lukács Gyógyfürdőin in Budapest however we have kids that are 9 years old and 7 years old. I just read that they are not allowed to go in. Becasue we are going in early November, it will be too cold to go to the outdoor pool at Szechenyi for the kids. Is there an area where the kids can sit and we will take turn to supervise them in the Szechenyi Thermal Bath and the Lukács Gyógyfürdő Thermo Bath?

    • Hello Vera,
      Thank you for contacting us.
There are three pools outside, out of which, two can be visited by families with under 14: the whirlpool thermal pool and the lap pool (not the 3rd pool with a hotter temperature).
We have sent you an email with further details.
Have a lovely family holiday in Budapest!

  4. Dear Gellert Bath,
We would like to book a 60 minute couples massage on the morning of May 29, 2024. How can we reserve this?

Note that we have not purchased our entry tickets online yet. Can we book our entry tickets and our couples massage at the same time? How do we do that?

    Thank you.

  5. Hello, we have booked the baths for Tuesday 12th December and the money has come out of our bank but we have not received any confirmation on email. Can you please look into this for us.

    • Hello Michael,

Thank you for reaching out to us with regards to your Budapest bath reservation. I can confirm that the original confirmation for your bath ticket and, consequently, the QR codes were sent to your alternative email address used in the booking form (the one ending with gov.uk). Please kindly check the inbox and the spam folder too in the original email.
Note: If the firewall is set at a high security or very strong, it may not get through, so please contact us again and we will resend the QR codes to your most recently used personal email address.
