Palatinus Baths is open from 9 am to 4 pm every day in the winter (valid from Oct 25, 2024)
The cashier counters will close 1 hour prior to the facility’s closing time. Please note that the pools and pool areas must be vacated 20 minutes before closing.
The bathhouse is located approx. at the middle of Margaret Island. We recommend spending a few hours exploring the historical Margaret island before or after the bath visit.

Senior (66-99 y): €17
Palatinus Child tickets (3–14) may require ID (photo ID or digital version).
Palatinus Student tickets are available with valid international student ID (daytime students only; evening or correspondence students excluded).
Palatinus Senior, 66 years of age or older. (ID may be requested: photo ID or its digital version). Kindly note that visitors aged 65 require an adult ticket.
History of Palatinus Baths
Palatinus first opened in 1919 and quickly expanded. By 1921, new pools were added, and in the late 1930s, the famous wave pool—still in operation today—was built. After WWII, the bath was restored, and sunbathing areas were expanded. In the 1970s, playgrounds, football courts, and additional outdoor spaces were added, creating the family-friendly environment we enjoy today.
Lumina Park Palatinus – Magical Light Experiences
After the bath closes, the outdoor area transforms into Lumina Park Palatinus, a festive wonderland of over 200 light installations, interactive experiences, and music that brings stories to life.
