Hi,
Two questions, please.
We would like to visit the baths with two children aged 8 and 11. Is that possible?
Can we buy reduced tickets on the spot from 7 to 9am and then visit the baths with those tickets later on the day?
Thank you for your help in advance
Dear Javier,
Children under 14 can only use two outdoor pools at Szechenyi Bath, both unheated and exposed to the cold winter air
Alternatively, you can opt for Gellert Spa instead, where the big indoor pool can be used by the family, or even better, Aquaworld resort, which has many family friendly features.
The ‘Good Morning’ ticket that is sold on the spot: you can only buy them offline, at the cashier between 7 am and 9 am every weekday (from Monday to Thursday). Please note that once you enter the spa, you cannot leave and return later.
Have a lovely time at the Bath!
Just checking if there is any offer to purchase tickets for the baths at the moment. We visit Budapest regularly and always visit the baths. Thanks. Travelling this week,
Dear Majella,
Thank you for your email.
We believe that the best value option for your preferences would probably be the entry type called “Good morning” ticket that is sold on the spot: you can only buy them offline, at the cashier between 7 am and 9 am every weekday (from Monday to Thursday).
The daily saver ‘good morning’ ticket means that only the purchase needs to be timed between 7 am and 9 am (Mon-Thu), then you can stay for the whole day.

Dear Yasmeen,

We have sent you an email with further details.
Hi Team, Me & n husband will travelling to Budapest on 1st August , just wanted to ask since we both don’t know to swim, can we still use the thermal baths or will it be too risky .
Dear Ranjana,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
The short answer is you can visit the bathhouses if you can’t swim.
Only the swimming pool is deep all the other pools are shallow.
The other pools are for relaxation so mo most guests are just sitting or moving/ walking around slowly the thermal waters. The outdoor pools are colder, however they are also not deep. For the hottest summer days, we recommend visiting one of the open air lidos, like Dagaly baths.
