Pick a date, and follow the link of the specific party date that appears in the form, after you have chosen your party date. You will make a reservation via the online payment system. You do not need to submit the form, just click on the link that will lead you to the payment page.

Note: party tickets are valid for the duration of the party hours (9.30 pm – 2 am). Daytime bath entries will not entitle you to visit the party, and party tickets will not entitle you to make a bath visit during the regular opening hours (7 am – 7 pm on weekdays). Where are the Budapest Bath Parties?

The location of the spa bath parties in Budapest is Szechenyi Baths. Note: the organisers reserve the right to change the venue of the party, so please check your tickets and your mailbox for updates.

Bath Party Location: in the warm outdoor pools of Szechenyi Spa Baths, in the City Park of Budapest, District XIV (14th district). A short walk from the Heroes’ Square.

Frequently asked questions about the bath parties in Budapest.
What are the minimum and maximum age to take part in the bath party?

Minimum age: 18 +
Maximum age: none

The nocturnal VJ Szecska bath parties are cool, fun and unforgettable. There is no upper age limit, but there is a lower age limit set at 18 years of age (if the party guards are in doubt, you will be asked to show your ID/passport as proof of age).
Even though there is no age limit set, the general party crowd is about 20 – 40 years old, mostly 20-30 somethings enjoying themselves.

What is the music like at the bath party?

The spa party music is mostly triphop, funk, psychedelic music, so if like this sort of music and can enjoy the spa bath parties continuously re-painted with colourful laser beams, it is your chance to come and enjoy something unique. A must-see in Budapest, Hungary.

Can I use the whole bath complex during the spa party?
No, only the outdoor pools are open, the indoor thermal pools, saunas, plunge pools, octagonal pools, massage therapies, etc. are closed. Indeed they close each day at 7 pm in Szechenyi Baths. Your party ticket is only valid from after 9.30 pm when the party begins and is valid until 1.30 am when the party ends. If you wish to buy a daytime bath entry, you can do so in a separate purchase (day time bath entries bought online automatically include a fast track entry, unlike the party tickets)

What is the Code of Conduct during the Bath Parties in Budapest?

AGE: The minimum age is 18 years old to enter the party.
WEAR: Nudity is not tolerated at the party, swimwear or beachwear is a must. Flip flops are recommended. Some fool around with beach toys, which is mostly not frowned upon.
ANTI-SOCIAL: Anti social behaviour, harassment will not be tolerated. Please behave decently you would expect at your own house party where you own the house. Don’t forget, you are partying in a historical bath (Szechenyi Baths turned 110 years old in 2023). Anti-social party goers will be removed from the party.
EAT / DRINK: During the party, only foods and drinks purchased on the premises are allowed to be consumed. Please do not bring your own foods, drinks. They will be confiscated. Strict rules they are.
SAFETY: Party tickets include basic health insurance. Please leave behind any objects that pose a safety hazard, such as fragile objects (including items made of glass), sharp-edged objects (knives), or unhealthy items (drugs).
BEACH TOYS: Small inflatable armbands, size S or children size swim ring (up until 70cm in diameter) are allowed. The following items, however, are not allowed on the Sparty: M-L-XL-GIANT size swim ring, beach ball, swimming board, inflatable swim mattress, flippers, squirt guns, diving equipment.
PHOTOS: To take photos or videos you will need a special permit. A special permit is usually given to media people, professional photographers, videographers. Ordinary photo shoots are not permitted, sorry. On the other hand, there are photos and videos taken at the event, which may also feature you. By entering, you accepted that you may not claim any rights to this footage.
JUMPING: Jumping in the pool is not allowed. It is a shallow warm pool anyway, and you do not want to hurt yourself or your fellow party-goers. Dancing, on the other hand, is allowed and is fun.
LOST: The organizers of the party do not take responsibility for lost items. Please do not bring your valuables to the baths. For lost property issues, please contact szechenyi@spabudapest.hu

When you buy the party entries for the Budapest bath parties, you accept the Terms and Conditions which consists of 2 main chapters, the Code of Conduct and the Payment Terms.

Code of Conduct

Payment Terms

REFUND: Unused tickets will not be refunded. Damaged tickets may or may not guarantee entry to the party.

CHANGE DATES: Changing the date of tickets may only take place in due time before the party date with the consent of the party organisers. Please contact the customer service to get your party date fixed. Last-minute changes are usually not allowed as there is no time to process a request in due time.

PRINT: Once payment is made online you will have to print out the digital voucher. Only printed tickets are accepted. If you buy several tickets, you will need to print them all. Please bring your ID with your tickets.

ONLINE: online party ticket sales will stop at 6 pm on the given party date. If tickets remain you may try to buy them at the entrance of the baths at the same price as online.

PARTY CARDS: you will use a special waterproof payment card, which is the exclusive payment used at the party (to buy drinks at the bar, or spa party equipment upon entering, like flip flops, towels, robes, etc.). The balance of the card expires at the end of the party. Please do not forget to claim your card refund of the remaining balance at the end of the party (until 1.40 am possibly), as no refunds will be paid after the party if you forget to get your balance while being at the party. This also means that should you attend another bath party, the balance of the previous party is non-transferable. The minimum top of the card is HUF 6,000. The card goes with a string. The deposit on the card + string is HUF 2,000.

BATH WRISTBANDS: your waterproof party ticket will be provided upon entering the baths. This looks like a silicon wristwatch with a blank watch face. The wristband is not merely a proof of payment in the pools, but also your locker/cabin key. If you lost the wristband, you will pay a fine of approx. HUF 3,000.

Miscellaneous

INSURANCE: party tickets include insurance (on condition that your blood alcohol level is below 2,2 ‰). The insurance is for minor injuries, theft.

STORAGE: online tickets include a bath locker with lock(or cabin, if you buy the more expensive tickets). But if you happen to arrive later on than the party begins, available places may run out. If there are no more lockers available, you will be given a waterproof plastic bag + an accompanying wristband ID at the entrance. After getting changed, you may hand in your plastic bag to the party personnel who will safeguard your bag.
